Identifying Your True Corporate DNA
I often get asked where the name ‘Coded Vision’ came from for our consulting business. The answer is quite simple.
Just as human DNA holds the code that prescribes the propensity of an individual to display certain physical characteristics, psychological profile and other genetically influenced elements a business profile can be formed by the ‘code of the companies vision’. The vision of the company determines the required infrastructure, capabilities, markets, products and culture. How well that vision is defined and executed defines the performance outcomes of the business.
Coded Vision aims to help companies better understand the gap between their perceived vision and the reality of their corporate imprinted code. In many instances, companies are disconnected between the code they believe they are executing and the reality. This is not a comfortable admission to accept, but once better aligned, many performance issues start dissolving. It’s like running antivirus over the corporate culture and structure to identify those seemingly insignificant Trojan horses that ultimately destroy a company’s ability to perform at its peak. We help them code a new vision – one that is more visible, more executable and more able to be measured and monitored.
